- Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with epilepsy, monitoring wellbeing and responding appropriately to seizures.
- Supporting learning in class, ensuring the child can fully access the curriculum.
- Maintaining accurate records of incidents and liaising closely with parents and medical professionals.
- Encouraging confidence, independence and social skills through tailored support.
- Previous experience supporting pupils with medical or complex care needs.
- Confidence in following care plans and safeguarding protocols.
- A calm, reassuring presence and the ability to think quickly under pressure.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
