Working on the refurbishment of passenger areas, improving security compliance processes within terminals, MEP refurbishment, and projects to extend the serviceability lifespan of existing buildings.

Oversee and take accountability for all project-related MEP services issues, including:

1. Tendering and procurement of MEP packages
2. Management of all aspects of MEP subcontractors' works from tender to project completion
3. Management of specialist packages such as lift installation, Fire Alarm, BMS
4. Planning of works including design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover phases
5. Commercial management of MEP subcontractors' contracts and variation accounts
6. Ensuring Mace MEP procedures are implemented
7. Conducting monthly project audits and progress meetings
8. Participating in safety training and site duties
9. Collaborating with the MEP director to develop procedures and best practices
10. Ensuring safety compliance, reviewing method statements and risk assessments, and conducting safety observations

• Good engineering knowledge supported by relevant qualifications in mechanical, electrical, BMS, or public health systems
• Commercial awareness and planning skills
• Knowledge of MEP systems commissioning
• Experience in tendering, procurement, and plant engineering
• Design coordination skills
• Proficiency with standard contract forms
• Good presentation skills
• HNC or degree in building services engineering
• Bias towards a discipline (mechanical or electrical)
• Minimum 5-day SMSTS course and appropriate CSCS card
