We’re seeking a commercially-minded Senior Project Manager to lead complex engineering programmes across international teams, playing a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge automotive technology.

You will be the key customer interface from bid through to production, responsible for shaping project plans, managing risks, and ensuring deliverables meet time, cost, and quality targets. This is a high-impact role where your leadership will directly influence project success and customer satisfaction.

1. Leading the preparation and submission of project bids and plans
2. Managing stakeholder relationships – acting as the voice of the customer internally and the voice of the project externally
3. Delivering projects through a structured, gated development process
4. Coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing (UK & China)
5. Monitoring project health and reporting KPIs to senior leadership
6. Actively managing risk, change, and issue resolution to keep delivery on track

• Proven success in delivering engineering or automotive Tier 1 customer projects
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills with confident communication
• Technical understanding of product development and manufacturing
• A degree in Engineering or a related field; APM qualification or Six Sigma experience is advantageous
• Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Confluence, or Jira
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, global teams with some international travel
