Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager - IAM Specialist to lead IAM project deliveries. This hybrid role offers 2 days on-site in Sheffield and 3 days remote work. The successful candidate will bring hands-on IAM project experience and strong stakeholder engagement skills. Essential skills include project management expertise, familiarity with IAM technology, and proficiency with tools like JIRA. The ideal candidate will have a project management qualification and a background in banking or financial services.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in IAM.
  • Hands-on experience delivering IAM projects is a must.
  • Excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead IAM project delivery across global business.
  • Manage stakeholders and vendors for project scope delivery.
  • Ensure JIRA and Confluence are updated regularly.

Project Manager - IAM Specialist

My global banking client is looking for an experienced technical project manager with expertise in hands‑on delivery of IAM (Identity & Access Management) projects. The role involves supporting the adoption of IAM across the Global Business.

YOU MUST HAVE HANDS-ON IAM PROJECT EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE

Essential Skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Good technical understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • DevOps
  • Jenkins
  • CICD Pipelines
  • Cloud and on‑premise infrastructure platforms
  • Previous hands‑on experience of delivering IAM projects
  • Good technical understanding of IAM and controls capabilities and requirements
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and excellent communication skills involving senior stakeholders
  • Lead assigned internal stakeholders and vendors to deliver on the agreed scope
  • Using standard PM reporting practices ensuring JIRA Confluence is kept up to date
  • Positive proactive team player working as part of a large programme global team
  • Good understanding of regulatory & audit requirements

Desirable Skills
  • A PM qualification Prince 2/PMP
  • Proven track record of working with technical Cybersecurity and operations teams
  • Previous experience as a Scrum Master or Lead for a complex programme or in a large organisation
  • Experience working with JIRA and workflow management tools
  • Agile project management experience
  • Sector experience within banking/financial services

The role offers hybrid working with 2 days a week on site in Sheffield and 3 days WFH paid via umbrella.
