Overview

Are you a seasoned Project Manager with deep experience across Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Cloud ERP or HCM? Do you thrive on leading complex, transformative projects that deliver real value to customers?

Responsibilities
  • Take the lead on end-to-end delivery of high-profile Oracle E-Business and Oracle Cloud projects.
  • Be the key client interface – managing expectations, risks, scope, and steering group reporting.
  • Use expertise in PRINCE2, MSP, and governance practices to guide delivery teams.
  • Drive quality using MAXIMISE project methodology, with clear milestones and accountability.
  • Ensure on-budget, on-scope, and on-time delivery – owning P&L performance.
  • Motivate teams to operate at pace and build genuine partnerships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Manage delivery of Version 1's Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle ERP Cloud, and Oracle HCM Cloud projects, working with customers to confirm scope and goals.
  • Act as key interface to clients, helping navigate challenges and risks of transformative projects.
  • Lead the Version 1 team, ensuring resources work to the agreed plan, delivering outcomes on time and to high standard.
  • Understand and manage project scope, working with customers on change requests.
  • Create well-thought-out, achievable project plans underpinned by MAXIMISE methodology.
  • Control and report progress to Steering Group/Sponsor and senior stakeholders, escalating risks/issues as needed.
  • Continuously assess and monitor risks and issues, and work with client counterparts to mitigate them.
  • Understand dependencies on external parties, developing a plan to manage and report on them.
  • Motivate internal and client teams to work at pace, overcome obstacles, and meet deadlines.
  • Play key role in communication, ensuring all parties understand the big picture.
  • Monitor and report on project budget, taking ownership of P&L targets.
  • Travel to customer sites as required and permitted.
  • Assist in pre‑sales and business development opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience leading Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen and confidence working in fixed‑price consultancy environments.
  • Deep understanding of governance, stakeholder engagement, scope/change control, and budget management.
  • Proactive and collaborative mindset, capable of energising teams and customers.
  • Experience of leading, overseeing, and driving forward projects within Oracle E‑Business Suite, Oracle ERP Cloud, and/or Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Background within programme/project management methods including MSP and PRINCE2.
  • Fixed‑price/budget, commercial and customer experience.
  • Governance (Gate Control, Status Reporting).
  • Scope management expertise.
  • Stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills across all levels.
