An arts and culture organization is seeking a freelance Project Coordinator to manage a programme for creatives in the Scottish Borders. This role involves overseeing grant schemes and mentoring initiatives while collaborating with local stakeholders. The position offers flexible working hours from home or at the SUP Office in Galashiels. The contract runs from December 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026, with a fee of £200 per day.
CABN are recruiting for a new role within the project – a freelance Project Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join us at a pivotal time, helping to shape and deliver our programme for creatives across the Scottish Borders.
The Project Coordinator will play a central part in supporting and growing CABN’s work, overseeing delivery of our year-round activities and leading on creative development. Working closely with the Southern Uplands Partnership (SUP), who engage the role, the Coordinator will also line-manage two part-time freelance posts: Catalyst for Communication and Catalyst for Engagement.
Freelance, Fixed Term (with potential to extend pending funding)
Period of work: 1 December 2025 – 30 September 2026 (10 months)
Hours: 21 hours / 3 days per week, worked flexibly
Location: Home-based / SUP Office, Galashiels
Fee: £200 per day
