A leading aerospace technology company in Cwmbran, Wales is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to oversee project execution, manage risks, and coordinate with customers. The ideal candidate should hold an HNC/HND or degree in Engineering with significant experience in technical project management. The purpose of this role is to develop effective engineering project plans, track progress, resolve problems, develop solutions, and forecast project and product cost performance. Coordinate with other functional units, identify and address project issues, gather and analyze data to support the development of solutions and recommendations to solve problems, meeting schedule commitments and optimizing performance.
Scope of Responsibilities: You act within a small team of peers and do not have direct responsibility for any staff. You have the ability to manage across a functional matrix structure within the Technical Domain of the business. Your responsibility is focused on effective planning and execution of Engineering projects to meet or exceed the agreed performance metrics. You are considered the Technical focal point for the project under your responsibility, across the entire business and also Customer and Airframer facing.
The role is based in Cwmbran, Wales, and occasional travel will be required, including to international locations (suppliers, customers, other Safran sites). Your key responsibilities include:

Requirements: HNC/HND within a related Engineering discipline, or an Engineering Degree within an Aerospace related discipline. Typically having greater than 5 years of experience working in an Engineering Discipline or a Technical Project Management role. Previous experience managing multi-functional Teams including within a remote working setting. A good understanding of the certification framework within which the work is undertaken, preferably with some knowledge of Aircraft Interiors.
