A family-run engineering firm in Wombwell is seeking an experienced Refrigeration and Airconditioning Engineer. The role involves diagnosing and repairing refrigeration systems, maintaining excellent client relations, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have relevant qualifications and experience, a full driving licence, and the ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check. The position offers a competitive salary, overtime, and benefits including a company van and pension.

- Effectively diagnose, identify faults and failures with equipment and systems, providing effective solutions and repairs.
- Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance.
- Complete all documents associated with reactive & planned preventative maintenance works.
- Liaise closely with the client (commercial clients) to maintain excellent customer relations.
- Work in a safe and controlled manner, following all necessary internal health & safety processes and client-specific site requirements.
- Experienced refrigeration and air conditioning engineer, with a minimum Refrigeration Handling C&G 2079 (FGas).
- Experience on a variety of refrigeration systems (fridges, freezers, display cabinets, cold-rooms, chillers).
- Air-conditioning experience on split A/C systems, VRV, AHU.
- Mechanical and electrical skills.
- Full driving licence.
- Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
