Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a growing company that supplies both equipment and workwear – from school uniforms to tents – and we're looking for an Operations / Warehouse Team Leader to join the team.

This is a hands-on, full-time and permanent role, perfect for someone self-motivated who’s ready to take ownership, lead a small team, and put their own stamp on the place. You’ll be reporting directly to yours truly, and we’re keen to bring someone on board who’s looking to grow with us.

You’ll be leading a small team of Warehouse and Production Operatives, keeping everything running smoothly and making sure our orders go out right, on time, every time. You’ll get involved in both sides of the business, so there’s plenty of variety to keep things interesting.

1. Learning the ropes: Get to know the ins and outs of the business, understand why we do what we do, and help make it even better
2. Leading by example: Support and guide your team, while staying hands-on with day-to-day tasks
3. Managing stock: Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
4. Driving improvements: Join team discussions, contribute ideas, and help shape the way we work
5. Mentoring: Support the team’s growth through training and day-to-day encouragement
6. Staying flexible: Pitch in wherever needed – things move fast, and we work together to get the job done

1. Someone organised, practical and responsible

5. FLT Reach experience is a bonus, but no licence needed – we’ll train you
6. Some experience with WMS is useful, but not essential

1. £28k–£29k salary depending on experience
