Manufacturing company in Leeds has a live requirement for a Warehouse Supervisor. This is a senior role in the warehouse operation where you will take the lead in ensuring department targets are met, as well as using your experience as a warehouse planner, warehouse manager, or warehouse supervisor to assess current methods and procedures and devise and implement business improvements across the warehousing function.

This is a new role for a growing, fast-paced manufacturing company. You will be accustomed to a deadline-driven environment and have the experience to implement meaningful change to the department.

About you

• Experience in a leadership role within warehousing for a fast-paced manufacturing organization.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Knowledge and experience of ERP systems and other relevant software.
• Able to assess current processes and procedures, devise and implement improvements.
• Team leadership and/or people management skills.
• Commercial outlook, able to understand business needs and how to deliver.

Key Duties include:

• Ensuring the warehouse function meets the wider needs of the business: stock levels, delivery times, transport, efficiencies.
• Developing and implementing effective procedures and strategies across the warehousing function.
• Analyzing and addressing areas of improvement.
• Using planning software and ERP to ensure maximum efficiencies.
• Staff planning and leadership.
