Qualifications

• Experience working in a similar store or retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage the materials management function at ward/department level.
• Undertake weekly ward stock takes and capture requirements using electronic equipment.
• Support the expansion of the Materials Management function.
• Ensure stock items delivered are correct and maintain agreed stock levels.
• Develop knowledge of products and produce stock usage reports.
• Plan meetings with Ward/Dept Managers to agree stock levels.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding delivery arrangements.
• Provide training in the use of the data capture system.
• Produce reports and analyze data relating to stock levels.
• Assess problem situations and determine resolution.
• Act responsibly when aiding patients and visitors.
