A leading UK professional services firm is seeking a Billing Assistant to support the revenue cycle by ensuring accurate bill issuance and managing the full billing lifecycle. The role requires previous experience in a law firm finance team and strong numerical and communication skills. Competitive salary of £32,000 – £35,000 is offered, along with flexible hours and potential for a permanent position.
Our client is a top-tier UK professional services firm recognised for its strong client relationships, commercial expertise, and collaborative culture. They are now seeking a Billing Assistant to join their growing finance operations team on a temporary basis - there is an opportunity to be offered a permanent role, this business is expanding rapidly.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the firm’s revenue cycle by ensuring bills are issued accurately, efficiently, and in line with client requirements. Working closely with partners, fee earners, and the wider finance team, you’ll help manage the full billing lifecycle — from preparing draft bills to submitting final invoices via e-billing platforms. You’ll also assist with query resolution, VAT checks, and maintaining billing records to support monthly financial reporting.
You’ll be highly organised, numerically accurate, and comfortable working in a busy, client-focused environment. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical skills with a proactive and professional approach.
