A leading freight-forwarding company in Farnborough is seeking a Senior Import Manager to oversee import operations across multiple modes, including air, sea, and road. The role involves managing customs compliance, maintaining client relationships, and negotiating with carriers. The ideal candidate should have a background in import operations and excellent team management skills. This full-time position offers a salary of up to £55,000 per annum.
Qualifications
- Experience in managing import operations across multiple modes.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and documentation.
- Proven track record in customer relationship management.
Responsabilités
- Manage end-to-end import processes including booking and customs clearance.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and maintain accurate documentation.
- Act as the point of contact for key import clients and negotiate rates with carriers.
