The role involves building client relationships and achieving sales targets. Candidates should have at least 5 years of sales experience in freight forwarding and strong negotiation skills. Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our Belfast client to recruit a new full time and permanent Business Development/ Field Sales Executive in the Freight industry.
To build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and potential company clients, understanding their needs and requirements, and then providing tailored solutions when required. To generate new business opportunities (focusing on ocean freight primarily, but not excluding road, airfreight, and customs clearance services) targeting both import and export clients. The role focuses on achieving agreed sales targets, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ultimately contributing to overall business growth. The role predominantly requires field-based client engagement, but collaboration face to face with internal teams will be required.
