In this position, your attention to detail, strong ownership, and commitment to accuracy will directly support world‑class export performance.

As an integral part of our global compliance operation, you will manage the end‑to‑end export process - from documentation reviews and screening to regulatory oversight and operational alignment - ensuring every shipment meets both legal and internal standards.

What You’ll Execute, Improve, and Deliver:
  • End-to‑End Export Compliance - Oversee the full export audit journey - from shipment creation to final release - ensuring accuracy, legal compliance, and flawless documentation every time.
  • Cross‑Functional Partnership - Work closely with the Global Customs Team and develop strong relationships with customers, warehouse teams, compliance, IT, and wider operational stakeholders to drive efficiency and enhance export quality.
  • Process Improvement through FLIGHTDECK - Use the FLIGHTDECK system to monitor compliance, identify bottlenecks, and support continuous, sustainable improvements across export workflows.
  • Visibility & Accountability - Maintain real‑time tracking and transparent reporting of all export audits, HMRC queries, regulations.
  • Proactive Communication & Problem Solving - Serve as the export point‑of‑contact across departments, resolving issues quickly, professionally, and with a customer‑focused mindset.
  • Continuous Improvement Culture - Champion standard work, lean principles, and daily operational refinement to deliver consistency and ongoing performance improvement.
  • Safety & Compliance - Ensure every export activity is carried out in strict accordance with internal procedures, export regulations, and global safety standards.
What You Bring to the Role:
  • Export Expertise - Experience in UK export law, global trade compliance, logistics, or supply chain - ideally within an aerospace, manufacturing, or repair environment.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset - Energetic, curious, and solutions‑driven, with a track record of improving processes, data accuracy, and workflow integration.
  • Detail‑Focused & Results‑Oriented - Able to manage high volumes of detailed information without losing sight of deadlines, customer needs, or compliance risk.
  • Tech‑Savvy & Analytical - Skilled in logistics systems, export documentation tools, Excel, and data‑driven decision making.
  • Excellent Communicator - Confident influencing across all levels, building strong working relationships, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders with clarity and credibility.
