Responsibilities
- Empty general waste and recycling bins to maintain cleanliness.
- Support sweeping of pathways and maintaining washroom cleanliness.
- Interact with guests providing excellent customer service.
Location: Thorpe Park
Hours: Full time, part time, weekends & holidays
Contract Type: Seasonal, until November 2025
Within this role you will be responsible for the emptying of general waste and recycling bins on resort, ensuring that the park is looking presentable to our guests at all times. You may also have to support litter picking and sweeping pathways on the resort. You will be a team player and have a passion for providing excellent customer service to our guests who may ask for assistance or directions on the park.
- Ensure the resort is clean to a high standard by emptying of general waste and recycling bins. Supporting sweeping of resort pathways if required.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in Washrooms, including stocking.
- Do ad-hoc tasks such as window cleaning as and when required
- Use of equipment such as pressure washers, Billy goats, leaf blowers, rakes.
- Use of chemicals following all COSHH regulations.
- Ensure an appropriate, professional and helpful behaviour is maintained throughout the team.
- Actively demonstrate commitment to department by demonstrating company values and teamwork.
- Ensure that the first and last impressions to our guests are kept to a high standard of cleanliness.
- To interact with guests to a high level of customer service utilising the Merlin values.
- Ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.
