Technical Quotation Administrator / Coordinator

Location: Sunbury (Hybrid – 1 day per week WFH)

Salary: £29,000 – £32,000 DOE

We’re looking for a Technical Quotation Administrator / Coordinator – someone who loves transforming complex information into precise, professional quotes that win business. If you’ve got experience in technical administration, estimating, or quoting within a construction, engineering, or security environment, this is your chance to join a growing company where your attention to detail truly makes a difference.

This is a key office-based role (with one day a week from home) supporting the delivery of high-quality technical proposals for enterprise security systems – ensuring every quote is clear, competitive, and complete.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Create and Manage Technical Quotes: Own the quoting process from start to finish – preparing accurate, detailed technical proposals for clients.
  • Coordinate Projects: Work closely with the Business Development and Commercial Design teams to qualify enquiries, clarify specifications, and ensure smooth handovers.
  • Maintain Accuracy: Review all technical documentation, pricing, and margins to ensure every proposal is commercially sound and fully validated.
  • Customer Liaison: Support clients on incoming enquiries, follow up on quotes under £10k, and make sure every client interaction runs smoothly.
  • Process Orders: Manage quote acceptance and order processing in the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy across all documents and systems.
  • Collaborate and Communicate: Partner with technical and commercial colleagues to keep projects on track and clients informed at every stage.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experienced Administrator: Proven background in creating and managing technical or commercial quotes in a fast-paced office setting.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with MS Office, Excel, and CRM systems – with a knack for learning new tools quickly.
  • Detail-Oriented: A meticulous approach to reviewing pricing, specifications, and documentation.
  • Commercially Aware: Able to balance technical accuracy with competitive pricing and margin control.
  • Strong Communicator: Excellent written and verbal skills to liaise with internal teams and external clients confidently.
  • Organised & Efficient: Able to handle multiple quotes at once, prioritising effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Industry Background: Experience in construction, security, or engineering quoting or estimating environments is highly desirable.
