Management Accountant - Oxfordshire

About the Role

As Management Accountant, you will play a central role in producing accurate and timely financial reports, maintaining financial controls, and supporting operational teams with insightful analysis. You will be part of a collaborative finance team working in a modern facility alongside passionate professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver monthly management accounts and weekly KPI reporting
• Manage accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Oversee accounts payable ledger and weekly payment runs
• Prepare VAT and Intrastat returns for HMRC
• Monitor budget variances and support cost control initiatives
• Provide training on business reporting and KPIs
• Liaise with operational staff to resolve supplier invoice issues
• Champion process improvements and efficient ways of working

What We Are Looking For

• 3+ years experience in a Management Accountant role
• Strong understanding of financial transactions and reporting
• Excellent Excel skills and experience with Sage 200
• AAT qualified or part-qualified CIMA or ACCA
• Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
• Experience in a fast-paced SME environment, ideally within automotive or motorsport
