“An great opportunity has developed in a growing local business that operates throughout the UK and Ireland for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join an established finance department. This role will allow for further development and career progression for the right candidate.”

Working with Senior Members of the Finance Team this candidate will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties...

Responsibilities
  • Processing high volumes of invoices, GRNs, and matching to POs.
  • Coding, data entry, and requesting supplier credits.
  • Managing purchase ledger enquiries and liaising with suppliers/internal teams to resolve queries.
  • Performing supplier statement reconciliations and handling payment queries at month-end.
  • Assisting with sales ledger, VAT returns (UK & ROI), and month-end tasks.
  • Supporting process improvements and providing general administrative support.
Your skills & experience
  • Experience of working in a busy finance department working across all areas of the accounts function.
  • Have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Evidence of analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
