Job summary
A leading recruitment firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a Rail project in London. The role involves leading bids, managing relationships with clients, and ensuring high-quality proposals. Candidates must have a strong background in railway signalling or tendering. Qualifications
- Experience in railway signalling or tendering is mandatory.
- Ability to manage multi-disciplinary proposals from £5m to £50m.
- Strong project management skills and knowledge of network standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of bids.
- Maintain relationships with customers and partners.
- Develop and manage capture plans for winning business.
Skills
Our client, a Tier 1 Contractor has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager with a railway signalling or tendering background.
To lead, manage and co-ordinate all aspects of a bid ensuring that high quality, competitive proposals are delivered to the customer in a manner consistent with the System. This will include:
- Establishing and maintaining positive and effective relationships with customers, partners and bid team
- Supporting management of the opportunity pipeline, in conjunction with the Bid Director
- Supporting business development in winning business by developing and managing capture plans.
- Capable of managing multi-disciplinary proposals from £5m – £50m
- Provide a professional, first class, consistent and effective project management service to the clients, including project monitoring and reporting systems in accordance with Railway Group, Network Rail company standards and guidelines.
- Participate in the development of supply strategies and framework contracts.
This role is reserved for those with experience in the sector of Rail, specifically SIGNALLING or TENDERING. If you do not have experience in Signalling or tendering please do not apply.
