A top 100 law firm based in the City of London is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor (NQ) to join their highly respected Real Estate practice. This is a full-time, permanent role offering the opportunity to work within a Legal 500 Tier 2 and Chambers Band 2 ranked team. The Commercial Property Solicitor will be joining a growing department that advises on a broad spectrum of high-value and high-profile transactions across commercial and mixed-use real estate.

This role is ideal for a newly qualified Commercial Property Solicitor looking to develop a long-term career in real estate law. The successful Commercial Property Solicitor will benefit from exposure to an exceptional client base including institutional landlords, private investors, developers, and corporate occupiers. With access to complex and varied work, this is a chance to grow your technical ability under the guidance of experienced partners.

Responsibilities
  • The successful Commercial Property Solicitor will be exposed to a wide range of real estate matters, including acquisitions and disposals, commercial leasing, landlord and tenant, asset management, and mixed-use development.
  • You’ll work closely with all partners in the team, alongside other departments within the firm.
  • You will have the opportunity to work on transactions such as:
  • Leasing of high-value commercial premises for blue-chip tenants
  • Purchase and disposal of investment properties
  • Development site acquisitions and disposals
  • Asset management across national property portfolios
The Commercial Property Solicitor
  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (NQ - September 2025 or recently qualified)
  • Previous experience gained from a well-regarded real estate team
  • Understanding of commercial property transactions and related legal frameworks
  • A strong academic background (Law degree or GDL + LPC/SQE)
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to client service
