Position Title - Education Manager
As Education Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the College overseeing student services, student unit and tutor co-ordination, and facilities and event management.
You will support a team of Tutors to deliver an effective learning experience to all learners by ensuring your team provide learners with the necessary information, advice, and guidance to successfully complete qualifications in a timely manner.
You will be accountable for all aspects of line management and will lead, develop and coach your team to achieve maximum productivity.
Working alongside the Business Development Manager, you will also drive business growth and sales within your area.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Operations
- Assist with the recruitment and selection of staff
- Conduct inductions for staff
- Input into the business plan on a regular basis
- Identify equipment requirements and organise purchase
- Maintain all insurances
- Academic management
- Prepare timetables and Training and Assessment Strategies
- Coordinate industry consultees and conduct industry consultations
- Develop and review marketing materials
- Organise and complete validation
- Review trainer files and ensure ongoing maintenance of such
- Check student course progress and attendance
- Conduct intervention meetings and organise support
- Provide student support
- Compliance
- Organise and maintain a compliance schedule
- Conduct internal audits
- Participate in audits
- Report all health and safety issues and incidents
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of external sources of student support
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of all standards and frameworks
- Respond to critical incidents as required
Personal Specification
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Management (preferred)
- Hold qualifications in either project fundamentals (PFQ) or project management (PMQ)
- Training, assessing and internal verification qualifications will be advantageous
- Experience in leading and developing a high-performing team in a workplace learning environment (experience of managing a remote team would be advantageous)
- Experience in effectively delivering on deadlines, objectives and targets
- Minimum 3+ years working as a Education Manager or similar role.

- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload
