This role involves data processing, anonymisation, and transcription for various research studies. The ideal candidate will possess A level/NVQ Level 3 education or relevant experience and demonstrate strong organisational and IT skills. You will work within a collaborative team to deliver exceptional research support in a dynamic healthcare environment.
We are looking to recruit a Data Administrator within Research and Innovation (R&I) at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) to support research across Manchester Royal Manchester Eye Hospital, supporting the Childrenâs Hospital Research Team and Saint Maryâs research as part of the Specialist Hospital Clinical Group (SHCG). You will join the busy research teams currently serving a volunteer patient population and their families across SHCG, and the clinical teams delivering multiple commercial and non-commercial research projects.

You will also have good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload. Good communication and administrative skills are essential, together with the commitment to demonstrate the Trustâs Values and Behaviours framework.
This is your opportunity to be part of an engaging team with nationally and internationally recognised investigators who work on the forefront of cuttingâedge research to develop diagnostics and treatments.
The post holder will be primarily responsible for data processing, data anonymisation and transcription duties relating to the research studies within SHCG. We are a welcoming, friendly team with a long successful record of writing and conducting our own research and of conducting national and international studies.
The successful candidate will be an exceptional communicator with effective organisational skills and be confident in managing a demanding and varied workload. Excellent IT skills and the ability to work with several projects simultaneously are essential.
They should be educated to A level/NVQ Level 3 or have demonstrable experience.
