About the Role

Our high-profile client is seeking a polished and proactive Private Estate Manager to oversee an exceptional portfolio of private residences across London, the South of England, and key international locations. This is not your average 9-5 – you’ll be hands-on, on the move, and at the heart of an exquisite, fast-paced world.
The Role Includes:
- Being the go-to person for all estate-related matters – nothing gets past you.
- Booking and managing contractors, trades, and suppliers with military precision.
- Regular travel between properties to ensure standards are impeccable
- Overseeing refurbishments, landscaping, and interior updates – think country house to cosmopolitan penthouse.
- Full responsibility for hiring, training, and managing household staff across multiple residences – including housekeepers, chefs, and other domestic team
- Sourcing and vetting new hires with discretion and speed – from recruitment through to onboarding and probation management.
- Working directly with the client – they’re hands-on, meticulous, and expect the same. You’ll need to anticipate needs before they’re even spoken.
What We’re Looking For:
- A seasoned estate/property manager with experience in ultra-high-net-worth environments.
- Proven ability to recruit, manage, and retain private household staff in demanding, multi-property settings.
- Unflappable, with a hawk’s eye for detail – if a picture frame is 2mm off, you’ll spot it.
- Strong knowledge of contract negotiations, and scheduling.
- Happy working independently, but confident working closely with an exacting, highly involved principal.
- Willingness to travel frequently – this is very much a boots-on-the-ground role.
