Project Manager – Contract (12 months full time contract)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team at William Russell for a 12-month full time contract.

The role – The Project Manager will report into the Marketing Director and will be responsible for planning and ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of various projects that will support the company’s growth and increase operational efficiency.

Key areas of focus will include:

• Working with the Senior Management Team to establish a new approach to project management and oversee and install the implementation. This will include collaborating with wider team members to help determine the best approach for us as a company.
• Applying the approach to key business projects.
• Creating and maintaining project-related documents (e.g. kick-off documents, specifications, meeting logs, decision logs).
• Managing relationships with project team members and with key decision-makers.
• Providing weekly reports to the Senior Management Team.
• Working with all department across the company to ensure the on-time and in-budget delivery of allocated projects.

About you – You:

• Can multitask and help support a wide range of projects simultaneously,
• Consistently achieve targets in quality and productivity,
• Work well under pressure with excellent prioritisation skills,
• Are a confident and diplomatic communicator with excellent relationship building skills,
• Are solution and target driven with a positive approach to completing work and achieving results within budget and deadlines,
• Have integrity, are self-motivated, and can work on your own initiative,
• Think logically, and
• Are passionate about continuous improvement.

Your experience - You have:

• At least 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager,
• Experience working with various project methodologies,
• Excellent stakeholder management,
• Experience of using project management software,
• Experience helping technical teams translate complex concepts into simple terms , and
• Experience of working in financial services & insurance sectors is desirable but not essential.
