Attendance Officer
Job summary
A local educational authority in Bolton is seeking an Attendance Officer to join a friendly admin team. The successful candidate will monitor daily attendance and work to improve it across all year groups while maintaining high standards of communication with the diverse school community. Candidates should be flexible, patient, and have experience in an administrative role in a school environment. The position is permanent, part-time, and pays between £12,719 and £14,021 per annum.

- Experience of working in an administrative role within a primary school or similar busy office.

The Governing Board of Brandwood Community School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Attendance Officer to join our friendly admin team, to ensure that attendance is monitored on a daily basis and to take relevant actions to raise attendance across all year groups.
The successful candidate will be someone who can demonstrate they have the commitment and ability to maintain our high standards of supportive communication with our diverse school community.
- A polite, patient and cheerful manner
- Experience of working in an administrative role within a primary school or similar busy office;
- A strong work ethic with excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
- Good time management;
- The ability to be flexible in response to the needs of the school;
- Good coping strategies when under pressure and meeting deadlines;
- An excellent rapport with children, staff, parents and visitors to the school;
- Confidence in using IT and computerised systems with experience of SIMS; Discretion and be conscious of the need for confidentiality
