Job summary
A leading insurance organisation in Greater London is seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster with expertise in Legacy Claims and Reinsurance. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of £75,000 plus bonus and excellent benefits, along with a hybrid working arrangement. The successful candidate will manage relationships, ensure compliance with regulations, and oversee claims reporting and audits. The role requires collaboration with various teams and handling contentious claims while adhering to Service Level Agreements.
Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements for client reporting.
- Handle claims and establish reserves accurately in systems.
- Monitor daily claims via market bureaux messages.
- Manage contentious claims and referral processes.
- Cultivate relationships with external experts as needed.
- Collaborate with the Actuarial Team for IBNR establishment.
- Oversee client board reporting and management projects.
- Support audits and regulatory compliance.
- Attend internal and external meetings.
- Assist the Client Services Manager and Claims Operations Team.
- Ensure compliance with UK and international regulations.
Our client, a leading insurance organisation, is looking for an experienced Senior Claims Adjuster to focus on Legacy Claims and Reinsurance. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, competitive salary of £75,000 plus bonus, excellent benefits, permanent position based in London.
- Ensure that all client reporting adheres to the standards and timeframes stipulated within each Service Level Agreement.
- Handle claims and establish accurate reserves in the company systems in line with agreed claims authorities for each client.
- Monitor “follow” claims daily via the market bureaux claims messages.
- Use expertise to manage contentious claims with referral to applicable authorities.
- Manage relationships with external experts within agreed terms of engagement.
- Collaborate with the Actuarial Team to provide necessary details for IBNR establishment.
- Support reporting to client boards and oversee projects required by clients and company management.
- Support periodic audits and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
- Attend internal and external meetings at all levels and maintain accurate records.
- Provide support to the Client Services Manager, Claims Operations Team, and Claims Manager as required.
- Maintain compliance with any applicable UK or international statutory or regulatory obligations.
