As a claims handler within the relevant claims team, ensure syndicate claims are handled to the Company's high standards and in line with Lloyd’s Principles, internal Claims Handling Guidelines

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Manage allocated claims (Speciality) to provide satisfactory conclusions for all interested parties, with a view to minimising the claims lifecycle and static claims
- Support and implementation of PMAL claims philosophy which is to deliver a consistent and high-quality service and ensure all claims are assessed in a fair and prompt manner in compliance the Lloyds standards, and their internal standards, regarding ECF turnaround times
- Support production of internal and external reports and operation of controls (aged report, static report, purge report, diary, etc.)
- Contribute to the Company’s profitability by ensuring that claims are handled appropriately, subrogation opportunities are maximised, and expenses are properly controlled
- Experience in a claims handling role with a focus on first party specialty claims (any lines including aviation, marine and energy)
- Experience of using ECF, Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and other claims related software (e.g., Sequel and Trax)
- Able to communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, quickly identify and solve problems
