Barker Munro Recruitment is seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join our client’s specialist team. If you enjoy managing complex claims and delivering great client service, this could be your next career move.
Manage a portfolio of construction and commercial claims (CAR, Liability, Plant & Equipment, Property, Professional Indemnity). Advise clients clearly, guiding them through the claims process. Negotiate fair outcomes with insurers, loss adjusters, and suppliers. Maintain accurate records and support team initiatives. Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes.
Claims handling experience (construction or commercial lines preferred). Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities. Strong communicator and team player. Experience with Acturis or similar systems (desirable). Progress towards insurance qualifications is a plus.
