Job Title: Casualty Claims Handler (100% Homebased)

Location: Home based

Overview

Due to another internal promotion, this global client is looking to recruit an experienced casualty claims handler to join their team on a 100% home-based basis. In this role you will investigate casualty – EL, PL and Product liability insurance claims from intimation through to settlement, establishing extent of damage and liability on behalf of key clients.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical reference point for key clients regarding liability.
• Handle a caseload of public and employers’ liability claims from intimation through to settlement.
• Assess damage/liability, identify fraud and negotiate quantum.
• Liaise with clients, brokers, suppliers, claimants and third parties.
• Provide an efficient and courteous service in a professional manner.
• Handle your own caseload from intimation through to settlement.

Experience / Qualifications

• Track record of handling liability claims – EL, PL and product.
• Confident handling claims from intimation through to settlement.
• Knowledge and experience of handling MOJ portal claims.
• A good understanding of insurance principles.
