A leading healthcare provider in Nottingham is seeking a dedicated professional to perform haemodialysis therapy while providing compassionate patient care. You will work within a team to ensure the unit runs smoothly and take charge in the absence of senior staff. Candidates should have strong assessment skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff. Performing haemodialysis therapy and patient focused care related to it.
Working within a team and when required as a team leader to ensure smooth running of the unit and managing problems when they arise.
Assessment of patients each time they come for treatment like fluid assessment and find effective solution to their problems.
Liaising with doctors, patients, families, outside agencies, other wards and colleagues regarding requirements for patient care.
Health teaching and giving support to patients about their condition, how to take care of their dialysis access and diet.
Liaise with staff in other dialysis centres if patient is for transfer into their unit in order to give information about the patient., Assess the care needs of patients and develop a programme of care which is evaluated and amended as appropriate.
Carry out relevant forms of direct and indirect patient care without direct supervision.
Regularly take charge of the clinical area in the absence of the person who has continuing responsibility of his/her deputy.
