A veterinary practice in the UK is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their inclusive team. The role involves admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, and supporting surgical procedures while delivering high standards of patient and client care. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to utilize their nursing skills to the fullest. Duties include admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, supporting surgical procedures, patient recovery, discharging patients, and delivering excellent client care. You will be supported by a team of ANA staff and an SVN to assist with theatre turnover and patient preparation. Whether newly qualified or experienced, the role offers great exposure to a variety of cases and opportunities to develop clinical interests, including advanced procedures offered on-site.
The ideal applicant will be cheerful, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering high standards of patient and client care. You should possess solid general nursing experience, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for animal welfare. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. The rota includes 1 in 4 weekends, with no out-of-hours or overnight inpatient checks, ensuring an excellent work-life balance.
