Adult ADHD Service - Advanced Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) with a Non-Medical Prescribing qualification to join our expanding Adult ADHD Service. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). You will play a key role in providing evidence-based care, supporting service users to manage their condition effectively, and contributing to ongoing service development.

• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering treatment to adults diagnosed with ADHD in various hubs across the city. Team members include Consultant Psychiatrists, Hub Manager, Specialist Assessment Clinicians, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, and STR workers.
• Work independently across the city as required.
• Provide strong clinical leadership and expertise to the multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards.
• Hold a caseload and manage regular follow-up and medication counselling clinics.

• Essential: Qualified Nurse, Degree or diploma qualification.
• Desirable: First Degree level, Independent prescriber.
• Essential: Significant experience of mental health care.
• Desirable: Knowledge and experience of NICE guidance relating to neurodevelopmental conditions (ADHD & autism).
• Desirable: Experience of working with service users with neurodevelopmental conditions.

• Ability to work in a pressured environment and manage competing priorities.
• Desirable: Comprehensive range of nursing skills ranging from psychological therapies to medication management.
