Job summary
A prominent recruitment company seeks a Vehicle Technician for a permanent role in Guildford. The position offers a salary of £30-45k plus bonuses, where you will work 40 hours a week. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining product knowledge. Ideal candidates will have experience in a similar role and a full UK Driving Licence.
Qualifications
- Experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer or independent.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out servicing, diagnosing and repairing of vehicles to excellent standards.
- Delivering exceptionally high customer service levels.
- Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
Skills
Vehicle Technician
£30-45k basic DOE + Bonus
Guildford
Permanent/Full Time
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Saturdays 8am-1pm on a rota basis
- Carrying out servicing, diagnosing and repairing of vehicles to excellent standards.
- Delivering exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
- Communicating with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control.
- Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
- Adhering to manufacturer procedures and processes.
- Being part of a team and bringing a high attention to detail.
- Providing your technical expert opinion to customers.
- Experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer or independent.
- Strong communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
