Overview

Position: HGV Technician - Hybrid (Workshop & Mobile)

Location: Warrington

Hours: Rotating shifts (45 hrs/week)

Shift A: 06:00 - 15:30

Shift B: 09:00 - 18:30 (30-minute unpaid lunch)

Salary: Up to £60,000 OTE (dependent on experience & qualifications)

The Role: We are recruiting on behalf of a leading commercial vehicle group for an experienced Hybrid HGV Technician to join their Warrington team. This is a split role involving workshop-based maintenance and mobile call-out work, offering variety, stability, and excellent earning potential.

Responsibilities
  • Service, maintain and repair HGVs to industry and manufacturer standards - both in the workshop and on roadside call-outs.
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults with accuracy.
  • Work as part of a professional team to meet service and efficiency targets.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, ensuring accurate documentation and updates.
  • Follow company processes and procedures, and proactively highlight opportunities for improvement.
  • Take part in ongoing training to maintain and enhance skills.
Candidate Requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
  • HGV Licence (advantageous but not essential).
  • Minimum Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent.
  • Irtec licence (preferred).
  • Previous experience as an HGV Technician.
