You will lead the Science technician team, support teaching staff, and ensure the smooth running of practical science lessons. Ideal candidates will have experience in a similar role, strong health and safety knowledge, and excellent organizational skills. This is a full-time position with a salary of £132.09 per day.

• Proven experience as a Science Technician in a secondary school.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements in school science labs.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead a small team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up experiments for practical lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, chemicals, and stock.
• Support teachers and students during practical activities.
• Ensure health & safety compliance in all science labs.
• Train and supervise junior technicians where applicable.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00 - 15:30

Pay: £132.09 per day

• Prepare and set up experiments for practical lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
