Overview

Senior Calibration Technician

Salary: £35k-£40k
Location: Brighton (easily accessible by train)
Hours: Monday-Friday, Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Permanent

Our market leading client is seeking a proactive Senior Calibration Technician to work at their laboratory facility and be customer focused and deliver high standards within calibration and Metrology. Responsibilities
  • To be proficient in calibrations across multiple areas with minimal supervision
  • Design and modification of rigs and piping systems to suit individual working instruction requirements
  • Participate in competency assessments and internal investigations and UKAS audit visits
  • Ensure calibration equipment is fit for purpose and fully functional
  • Generating certificates to a high level of first-time right success rate
  • Work successfully to process in support of the requirements of ISO17025 accreditation and ISO9001 certification
  • Achieve Master level competency in at least one area of calibration
Desirable Experience / Qualifications
  • Undergraduate Degree- STEM
  • 3 years plus of Calibration and Metrology experience
  • Advanced Vocational skills
