Job summary
A leading educational institution in West London is looking for a DT Technician to support food technology lessons. This full-time position requires a strong background in food preparation and excellent organizational skills. Key responsibilities include maintaining hygiene standards, assisting students, and managing resources. The ideal candidate will have experience in a secondary school environment. Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation or as a technician is preferred.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety standards is required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of food technology lessons.
- Prepare and maintain equipment and ingredients for practical lessons.
- Ensure food hygiene and safety standards are met.
- Assist students during cooking sessions.
- Keep records of stock, orders, and inventory.
