VANRATH are pleased to be partnered with an innovative business based in the Armagh area, this is initially an interim role for a period of 6 months with the view to secure a permanent contract. This is an opportunity to join a business who are part of a larger group setting and have experienced a period of hyper growth in the last 24 months.

Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the Interim Financial Controller will be responsible for the financial management, reporting and banking for the subsidiary business. The Interim Financial Controller will be working closely with the board of directors to ensure financial viability of the business figures.

This is a chance to join the business at a critical time period in their growth journey, and can offer the a path of progression for the successful candidate.

About you

• Qualified Accountant with 5+ year's experience in senior leadership role
• Construction experience (desirable)
• Strong financial modelling skills
• Available at short notice
• Ability to liaise closely with non-finance staff

What you'll do

• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Producing the budgets and forecasts
• Preparing the annual statutory accounts managing the year-end audit process
• Managing cashflow and reporting to group
• Create and monitor weekly KPI's
• Work closely with the SLT to understand key business drivers and provide a financial perspective on risks and opportunities
• Mentor finance team
