Job Title: Speech & Language Therapist - Norwich

Salary: £35,000 - £85,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Our client is an award-winning, NHS and HSE approved practice dedicated to providing high-quality psychological care across the UK and Ireland. They offer services including neurodevelopmental and psychological assessments for adults and children, expert witness assessments for courts and parole boards, and assessments in criminal/prison law, family law, immigration law, and medico-legal cases. They have a proven track record of delivering high-quality assessments and NHS contracts.

This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments within a busy service, providing invaluable evaluations to families and adults. It is a hybrid or remote position for qualified clinicians in the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team, focusing on autism and/or ADHD assessments via NHS referrals. Vacancies are available across UK sites, with some aspects of the role potentially remote. Multiple positions are open, including senior roles, with roles across various locations such as Harrogate, Huddersfield, Exeter, and Norwich. Candidates must be able to travel to these locations for hybrid roles.

The clinician will conduct diagnostic assessments for autism and ADHD using established tools, evaluate mental health conditions as needed, and prepare assessment reports with recommendations. Depending on experience, supervision of junior staff may also be involved.

• HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist
• Must be eligible to work in the UK
• Experience in neurodevelopmental and developmental assessments with children and young people
• Experience with children and young people with neurodevelopmental or mental health issues in clinical settings
• Knowledge of DSM-5 criteria and assessment tools for autism and ADHD
• Knowledge of differential diagnosis
• Ideally ADOS-2/ADI-R trained
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Experience in report writing and record keeping
• Additional qualifications in autism and/or ADHD are desirable
• Clinical supervision experience is a plus
