An esteemed healthcare organization in the City of London is looking for a Senior Staff Nurse to enhance their emergency department team. You will be responsible for leadership and care for children and their families, ensuring high standards are maintained. Candidates should hold an RN Child branch qualification and possess significant emergency department experience. Competitive salary offered, up to £46,580 per annum pro-rata with additional benefits.
An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a dynamic individual with excellent clinical skills and ED experience to enhance their skills as a band 6 in ED.
The successful candidate would take charge in the busy ED on a shift by shift basis and also be expected to work streaming/TW shifts to enhance the skill mix at triage.
As a Band 6 nurse you will be responsible for the day to day flow of the department by ensuring the standards of care are met for children and their family / carers whilst in the emergency department, including delegation and deployment of the nursing team in the absence of a band 7.

As a registered childrens nurse the post holder will provide leadership in care to children, young people and their families in theemergency department
The post holder will be accountable and responsible for providing a high standard of child and family focused care.
To carry out care without direct supervision as part of the Emergency Department team and supervise juniors delivering care.
To communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.Contribute towards the effective running of the department including patient safe and timely care.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
£38,682 to £46,580 a yearper annum pro rata plus HCAS
