Cover Supervisor – Maths – Gosport
Full Time | Ad-hoc Basis | Immediate Start or After Half Term

GSL Education are seeking a confident and enthusiastic individual to join a secondary school in Gosport as a Cover Supervisor specialising in Maths. This role is offered on a full-time, ad-hoc basis, with the flexibility to begin immediately or after half term.

The successful candidate will provide classroom supervision and deliver pre-prepared Maths lessons, ensuring students remain engaged and focused on their learning. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, graduates, or those with experience working in schools who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

• Supervise and deliver pre-set Maths lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Support students with their learning, encouraging progress and confidence.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student engagement and progress.

• Have a strong understanding of Mathematics and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Demonstrate confidence in leading a classroom and managing behaviour.
• Show excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be adaptable, resilient, and reliable, with a professional approach.
• Previous classroom experience is desirable, but training and support will be provided.
