A well-established International Logistics Company in Leeds is seeking a Customs Clerk to support European road freight operations. This role involves preparing customs documentation accurately to prevent disruptions at borders. The ideal candidate will have experience in customs procedures, compliance, and documentation. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. This position offers a full-time contract and a competitive salary range of £27,000 – £35,000 depending on experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a Customs Clerk or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of customs procedures and regulations.
- Ability to prepare import and export customs declarations.
Responsabilités
- Preparing and processing customs declarations for European road freight.
- Ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
- Liaising with planners and customers to support freight movements.
- Resolving customs queries efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
