Salary: £27,000 – £35,000 (dependent on experience)

We are currently recruiting an experienced Customs Clerk to join a well‑established International Logistics Company based in Leeds.

As a Customs Clerk, you will play a key role in supporting European road freight operations by ensuring all customs documentation is prepared accurately and in line with current regulations, helping to prevent border delays and disruptions.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Preparing and processing import/export customs declarations for European road freight
  • Ensuring full compliance with customs regulations and procedures
  • Liaising with planners, hauliers, customers, and internal teams to support smooth freight movements
  • Resolving customs queries and discrepancies efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Job Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a Customs Clerk / Customs Administrator within a freight forwarding or logistics environment
  • Strong understanding of European road freight customs procedures, including groupage movements
  • Experience preparing import and export customs declarations
  • Knowledge of customs compliance, documentation, and regulations
