The role involves sourcing and purchasing materials, managing supplier accounts, and ensuring budget compliance. I'm currently working with a successful manufacturing business based in Luton who are looking to bring in a buyer into the friendly and diverse team.
Source and purchase components and materials for production
Manage supplier accounts and negotiate process.
Source new suppliers and identify areas for improvement in purchasing
Ensure purchasing stays within budget and avoids shortfalls in stock
5 Years experience in a buyer / purchaser role
Experience in a manufacturing environment
