The Role
You will teach Business Studies across KS4 and KS5, delivering dynamic lessons that connect classroom learning to industry and global trends. The department values enterprise, collaboration, and critical thinking.
Responsibilities Include:
Plan and teach Business lessons aligned to the national curriculum
Deliver engaging content in enterprise, marketing, and finance
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level exams
Encourage analytical and problem-solving skills
Support learners' progression through practical case studies
Essential Requirements:
QTS and a degree in Business, Economics, or related field
Ability to teach across a range of business topics
Experience with KS4 and/or KS5 assessment frameworks
Strong classroom presence and planning ability
Desirable:
Experience teaching BTEC Business or A-Level Economics
Knowledge of Edexcel or AQA specifications
Background in industry or real-world business application
Involvement in enterprise clubs or competitions
