We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable qualified Supply Teachers to join our pool of talented educators, ready for assignments with immediate starts or starting in January 2026. About the Role:

As a Supply Teacher, your responsibilities will vary depending on the specific assignment but will typically include:

  • Delivering pre‑planned lessons effectively and engagingly across a range of subjects and key stages (KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5).
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively and creating a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Adapting to the routines and policies of different schools.
  • Providing feedback to the regular class teacher on student progress and behaviour.
  • Supervising students during lessons, break times, and other school activities.
  • Maintaining a professional and positive attitude at all times.
  • Being flexible and adaptable to different school environments and student needs.

To be considered you must have experience working as QTS Teacher in the UK.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching in UK secondary schools across a range of subjects and key stages is highly desirable.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff quickly.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings and follow varying school policies.
  • Reliability and professionalism.
  • A genuine commitment to the learning and well‑being of students.
  • A valid DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Access to your own transport may be advantageous for reaching schools across Northamptonshire
