Tackling climate change:

• Monitor and identify goals for the reduction of our GHG emissions from our own operations.
• Drive porcine and bovine genetic improvements which support productivity gains and improve feed efficiency, enabling a reduction in the production of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions per unit of milk or meat produced.
• Identify facility and other opportunities for reductions in GHG emissions, consistent with our goals.
• Partner and advocate for policies that advance positive climate goals and identified United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We are looking for someone to join us as a Sustainability Analyst in Germany.

You will play a crucial role in the consulting process by supporting the team, and you will build foundational skills for your consulting career.

You will gradually take on more responsibilities to become key contributors to the business’s success.

Ideally you will be located in the following regions: Rheinland-Pfalz, Nordrhein-Westfalen or Western Niedersachsen.

• Focused on inspiring customers by consistently meeting and exceeding their expectations
• Empower customers with independent advice for sustainability and business success
• Contribute to the successful growth, innovation and development of the business by:
  • Managing and growing a portfolio of customers which drives individual and team profitability
• Collaborating with Promar teams to deliver contracted projects on-time and to the agreed standard
• Producing technical reports for internal and external client projects which outline the approach, findings, conclusions and key recommendations
• Securing new business through networks, customer contact and business development opportunities
• Building professional networks and remaining updated with industry changes to ensure Promar is delivering industry-leading value to customers
• Demonstrating competence with full range of current tools (e.g. carbon footprinting, mapping software, etc.)
• Proficient in following internal business processes and systems, including time recording, CE, etc.

Adhering to the Genus policies, procedures and values with all stakeholders

• Agricultural or sustainability-related qualification
• Previous relevant experience in environment or sustainability work within the food or farming sector is a bonus but not essential
• Comfortable using and analysing data to formulate reports and recommendations
• Effective use of MS Office package
• You will need to be fluent in both German and English
