We are looking for a skilled and reliable HGV Technician to join a busy workshop in Corby. This role offers excellent pay, structured Monday to Friday hours, and the chance to work with a modern fleet in a supportive team environment.
- Service, maintain, and repair HGVs to a high standard
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance and inspections
- Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic tools and PC systems
- Complete job cards, service, and inspection sheets accurately
- Conduct road tests and ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
- Handle vehicles, tools, and equipment with care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- ✅ NVQ / City & Guilds qualified technician or proven experience in vehicle repair and maintenance
- ✅ Full driving licence
- ✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ✅ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- 💡 LGV C+E Licence and knowledge of Driver CPC or other legislated requirements are a bonus
- Pay starts from £19.26 per hour - competitive for day shifts
