Location: Corby, North Northamptonshire
Pay: Pay starts from £19.26 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (08:00 - 16:30)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and reliable HGV Technician to join a busy workshop in Corby. This role offers excellent pay, structured Monday to Friday hours, and the chance to work with a modern fleet in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, maintain, and repair HGVs to a high standard
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic tools and PC systems
  • Complete job cards, service, and inspection sheets accurately
  • Conduct road tests and ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
  • Handle vehicles, tools, and equipment with care
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Requirements
  • ✅ NVQ / City & Guilds qualified technician or proven experience in vehicle repair and maintenance
  • ✅ Full driving licence
  • ✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • ✅ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • 💡 LGV C+E Licence and knowledge of Driver CPC or other legislated requirements are a bonus
